JOHN QUINN
John is an Electronic Engineering and Applied Finance graduate, and a serial entrepreneur in disruptive technology startups having founded or had significant leadership roles in over 10 Blue Chip startups over the last 25 years. He has been recognized by the Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2002, the UK Business Innovation Awards in 2011, several International Innovation Awards in Semiconductor and Nanotechnology from 2003 to 2011 and shortlisted for five International “Innovation of the Year” awards in 2014/2015. In the early 90’s, he established world semiconductor nanotech benchmarks for the fabrication of CD-ROM, DVD & Blu-Ray & was technology lead for the conversion of Microsoft from floppy disc to CD-ROM for the release of Windows 95.
He worked for lengthy periods abroad, including Germany, the Far East, and the United States. With past Senior Leadership roles in some of the most successful semiconductor companies such as British Telecom, Hitachi-Maxell Europe, PIONEER Japan, JVC Europe, KAO Corp Japan, Oerlikon GmbH, Unaxis USA, he brings substantial strategic Technology and Innovation Executive Leadership to the Photonomi Group. He also sits on numerous policy, technical and governmental boards on Business & Innovation and is a regular guest speaker on Entrepreneurship.

MARK FAIRBAIRN OBE
Mark is an Honour’s Mechanical Engineering graduate and most recently worked for National Grid PLC for 22 years from 1989-2011. He held various senior roles in both electricity transmission and gas distribution including from 2003-2007 when he was Chief Operating Officer UK Distribution and from 2007 to March 2011 when he was Executive Director of Gas Distribution for National Grid PLC.
National Grid PLC is an international energy transmission utility with approximately 30,000 employees and a Market Capitalization of £27 Billion Pounds.
Mark is also a Non Executive Director of the UK Office of Rail Regulation. He also received an OBE for services to the UK Energy Industry. He brings over 30 years extensive experience to the Photonomi Group in areas of Regulation, Strategy and Global Energy. He is a regular guest speaker on energy & business.

PADRAIG MCMANUS
Padraig is the ex Chief Executive and Board Member of ESB Group, an Electricity and Gas Utility company founded in 1927 with over 8000 employees. Prior to this appointment, he held various senior posts in the company, including commercial director and managing director of ESB International. He worked for lengthy periods abroad, including Germany, the Middle East, and Africa. He is a Fellow of Engineers Ireland and The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
He currently serves on the board on Mincon, ESRI and Business in the Community and has previously served on the board of IBEC, the Irish Management Institute and the Conference Board of the US.
In January 2013, he was appointed Chairman of Eircom PLC, a national Telecom Utility company with over 5000 employees. David Fitzsimmons
David is ex Commercial Director responsible for British Petroleum’s Gas, Power, and Renewable business (BP plc). He holds an M.A. from Cambridge and a M.Sc. in Management from Stanford University in California.
He has over 30 years of experience in the global energy business. He has a long and extensive career at BP in senior management. He was the Chief Executive Officer at BP’s International Oil Trading business, and the President of BP Asia.
Mr. Fitzsimmons is a Member of Strategic Advisory Board of Braemar Energy Ventures. He brings substantial executive experience in the area’s of Global Energy, Strategy and Executive Management. He is a regular guest speaker on energy & business.
He has over 30 years of experience in the global energy business. He has a long and extensive career at BP in senior management. He was the Chief Executive Officer at BP’s International Oil Trading business, and the President of BP Asia.

Greg Byrne
Greg is an Economist and a Marketing & Sales graduate with over 33 years executive experience in a number of Blue Chip organizations. He is a published Author, Lecturer and Mentor on entrepreneurial marketing for early stage ventures and re-invention businesses.
Previously he was Marketing & Sales Director of Ernst & Young, KBC Bank PLC Belgium and several other Banking & Financial Service Organizations.
He was also a Government Economist and a Director of the Financial Services Industry Association. He is also an associate lecturer on entrepreneurial marketing with the National Management Institute and several University programs. Greg brings extensive Executive Marketing and Sales commercialization experience to the Photonomi Group company’s and is a regular guest speaker on entrepreneurial marketing.
